A restored Art Deco building, the Hotel Prince de
Galles is located within three blocks of up market boutiques on
the Avenue Montaigne and Champs Elysees. The 168 guest rooms are
decorated with period furnishings, and have marble bathrooms with
Art Deco flourishes. Amenities include wireless Internet access,
satellite television, safes and air conditioning.
Restaurant Le Jardin des Cygnes serves fine Provence inspired
cuisine at lunch and dinner amid hand painted frescoes, high
ceilings and ceiling to floor windows overlooking the mosaic
tiled courtyard garden. The morning breakfast buffet is also
served here, or outside on the patio in summer months. Guests can
also have drinks and lunch while browsing complimentary
newspapers on leather seating in the British style Regency Bar.
There is a business center with secretarial services, beauty
salon and fitness center, and guests can ask multilingual staff
at the 24 hour front desk for local sightseeing information,
while the concierge is able to assist with opera and restaurant
bookings. Most of the city's luxury boutiques are located in the
immediate neighborhood, the Golden Triangle, which is bounded by
Avenue des Champs Elysees, Avenue George V and the Avenue
Montaigne. It is also a hot spot for chic new nightclubs and
trendy restaurants. Famous Parisian attractions such as the River
Seine and the Arc de Triomphe are within three blocks, and
Charles de Gaulle Airport is 25 kilometers distance from the
hotel.
