The extravagances of Rio de Janeiro's Carnaval
celebrations are faithfully re-enacted seven times a day at the
Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino Las Vegas Nevada, which is located
one mile east of the Strip and four-and-one half miles from the
McCarran International Airport.
The Rio is renowned for its aerial show that passes through
Masquerade Village. Performers sway to the Latin beat as they
toss bead necklaces from elaborate floats in a ritual reminiscent
of Brazil's infamous tradition. Penn and Teller present quirky,
cerebral humor in the Samba Theatre, their act followed by
Showgirls. Not to be outdone, the Chippendale dancers perform
regularly at Club Rio. The Off-Broadway hit show Tony n'Tina's
Wedding provides a feast of nightly amusement. And, a $2 million
renovation resurrected the famous Voodoo Cafe and Lounge where
guests marvel at mystical sights and breathtaking views from two
outdoor patios that hover over the Strip. Erocktica, a rock and
roll and exotic dance revue, also draws worldwide attention.
